NRK (Norwegian national broadcasting):

The day before the Årets Urørt final we were welcomed in the Topp 20 studio in Oslo by host Nicholas Carlie. Topp 20 is the Norwegian national chart show, and we were invited together with Bellman, fellow Urørt finalist, to talk about ourselves and the Årets Urørt final. They also aired a short preview clip of the forthcoming "Taking My Breath Away" video.

VG (Norway's largest newspaper)

Norway's largest newspaper, VG, published a full page article about us under the heading "Making music via e-mail". In the article they claimed we were favorites to win the Årets Urørt final, presented us as a band and focused on the fact that we use the Internet when making music. The article was illustrated by a color photograph from the "Taking My Breath Away" video shoot.

Spirit (Norwegian teen magazine)

The Norwegian youth magazine Spirit chose us as front cover for their February issue. The photograph was taken by photographer Fredrik Arff in Oslo in January. We were chosen to illustrate an article about music downloading mainly because we were an up-and-coming band that had used the net to break our music. The magazine featured several pictures of us and a brief interview.

BA (Local newspaper)

Bergen's second largest local newspaper, BA, did an interview with us in Bergen in January 2006, and published an article about the band, the Urørt Final, plans for the future and the music video. The article featured a photograph outside Den Nationale Scene (The National Venue of Theatre, in Bergen) by BA's photographer.

 

NRK P3 (Norway's largest radio station)

"Marte" is one of Norway's most listened to radio shows, on the national radio channel NRK P3. We were invited my hosts Marte Skokkstad and Kristoffer Reinsfeldt Arnesen to talk about how we met, the music video and our upcoming concerts. We also got to introduce our own song "Taking My Breath Away"!

TV2 Nettavisen (Norway's largest online newspaper)

Internet newspaper TV2 Nettavisen was among the first publications to notice Strawberry Sadness when we were shooting our music video at an old gas station in Bergen. They published an article where they mentioned that female weather presenter Hilde Holdhus had a role in the video, as well as describing the video and the band. The article featured several pictures from the video shoot.

Strawberry Sadness are one of the bands featured on the compilation "Bergen Rock City vol. 2". This release is aimed at promoting bands from Bergen to the growing Chinese music industry. In this article the project is presented and the bands featured, including Strawberry Sadness, are listed.

Budstikka (Local newspaper):

Local newspaper for the Asker and Bærum area, Budstikka, published a two page article about us, after interviewing us at a cafè in Sandvika. The article was illustrated by a lage photograph taken at the cafè, and in the interview we talked about our different musical backgrounds, the Årets Urørt final and our plans for the future.
